If the optional A/F Box is connected you will be able to display real time A/F ratio. Upgrading the SBC i-D Those owning the Blitz SBC i-D series can easily upgrade to the full color display by attaching the MMD. If the optional TEMP sensor and PRESS sensor are connected, it is also possible to display water temperature or oil temperature and oil pressure. The graphics that the full color display made it possible are such as displaying from analog to digital meter, graph comparison display and a possibility to produce a variation of back ground images. and P to 10 (what this means is that your normal setting is 50 and the P setting will increase that by 1060 giving you 1.2bar) if you want to cut down your boost to 0.85bar for 2 sec: set C to 2. Any insight on the harness or turning boost down a bit would be appreciated. if you want to overboost for 3 seconds to 1.2bar: set C to 3. Basically Im trying to turn boost down as Im hitting upwards of 17.5-20.3 psi (not sure which, long story.) but I figure Id like a controller regardless. In addition to the new full auto function in which the self-learning method can be chosen in three steps, a boost according to the RPM and speed is possible to setup to match on all the stages. I emailed Blitz a LONG time ago but they didnt respond at all.
A still more precise control is added to the auto boost setup. The known full auto function evolves further in the SBC i-D series. I have a internal wastegate so the highest to go as recommended by Blitz is either 15 or 20, on my highest boost seting which is 15psi I set the gain to 15 but this was only for the track on the street I would have the boost kick in a little later cause for traction purposes.
It has a function as al logger according to the RPM to compare a maximum of three channels on the horizontal axis that are power, torque, boost and A/F. The SBC Type S features a single solenoid that diverts pressure away from the turbo actuator to achieve higher boost. If you give it too much gain, you will reach your peak very quickly, however you will most likely overboost your pre-limiter setting as it does take under a sec to calc (you can check this with the gauge/peak gauge provided in the controller itself). The highly efficient solenoid ensures excellent boost stability, control and response. You realistically need tune this, so you are getting you max boost towards higher rpm band.
